5-26-26    THOUGHTS

There’s a war going on for our souls.  Satan is after us at every turn, but DOMINION BELONGS TO OUR GOD!  That GOD of all grace  “will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you...”  We then can put all our worries on HIM!  All of us will suffer some...  with firm faith, we resist our adversary.  FOREVER BELONGS TO OUR AWESOME GOD!  

1Pet 5:6-11   Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,  7  casting  all your anxiety  on Him, because He cares for you.  8   Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9  But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.  10  After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11  To Him be dominion forever and ever.  Amen!

Our Prayer:
Help us, O God, to humble ourselves under Your mighty hand!  May we always resist the devil, standing firm in our faith.  Father, we allow anxiety and worry to lessen the quality of our lives and health.  Teach us to cast it all on You!  Lord, increase our faith.  You, O God, are the Rock of All Ages, may we readily flee to Your  presence.  Accept please our thanksgiving, and praise and love.   In Jesus’ name,   Amen.
